WILL: Family History Records sent to T.Mason by Ann Johnston, Pine Bluff, AR 71601; 20 May 1992;  NOTES: 9/23/ 1805 Thos. R. Jameson approval of estate will Bk. 4 pg 157-247 Orange Co. VA

Mary Polly Samuel

WILL-CHILDREN: Family History Records sent to T.Mason by Ann Johnston, Pine Bluff, AR 71601; 20 May 1992;  sent copies of records from RESEARCHER: Katherine Birnbaum Creason, 110 Kenwood Pl, Hot Springs, AR, dated Feb 1967.

Following citation of books for wills of John Samuel and Henry Samuel it states:
5/27 1833 Catherine Samuel approval of estate will bk. 7 p 588
9/23 1805 Thos. R. Jameson approval of estate will Bk. 4 pg 157-247

In this sale of estate Polly Jamison & Henry Samuel bought practically everything.  I read both 157-247 looking for connection between the two families. in 1792 Dec. 12, Jameson, Thomas R. married Polly Samuel and her bondsman was Henry Samuel. Marriage Register 1. So I do not think he was parent, but probably sister [brother]. Catherine Jamison (page 86 Reg. 1) Sep. 5, 1813 married Clark Thomas. Bondsman John Clark & Philemon Samuel. (The above "I read" refers to Miss Ida J. Lee who did the research for me.)

Nathaniel S Ayres

In 1900 census in home of his brother Joseph J. Ayres

Dorothy Ela Ayres

Jameson book indicates she died October 2, 1878 however she was listed in the 1880 census, so the book must be incorrect.

Malinda Ayres

In 1850 and 1880 census with cousin, John Yeiser.
