(2) Beverly G. Yeiser.  Correspondence 17 Jan. 1998.  Following essay by Donna Juhline Thomasson. "I was born February 20, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky.  I grew up in Houston, having moved here when I was nine. George and I married before I finished college but I returned to the University of Houston (after a fifteen-year semester break) and earned a BBA.  I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with our children when they were young.  But when they needed money more than me I went to work.  I worked for several years in real estate and preferred being a commercial broker over residential.  When Mom started having medical problems I was able to stop working full time so I could help her -- she kept me hopping for a good five years.  I now work part time at Rice University.  My other interests include sewing, quilting, gardening and going places."
