RESEARCHER: Howard Yeiser.  Served in Mexican Border conflict. Capt Inf WWI, Silver Star. Col. WWII, Honorable 29May 1944.

Information from Jan Phillips to T.Mason on 25 Jun 2007. "Ewing Dean Colvin was my maternal grandfather. He was Prosecuting Attorney for the city of Seattle during the depression years and subsequently ran for the United States Senate from the state of Washington, as a Republican (during the Roosevelt years).  He passed away (heart attack?) while giving a political speech on October 10, 1946."
