Lola Savola Bustin-Chambers, Harrah, OK, age 85, was born on January 31, 1924, in Pharoah, OK. She was the daughter of John F. & Nora M. Voyles Overbey. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Harrah, OK.
Savola was an educator and homemaker. She married Henry Marion Simpson, who preceded her in death, then she married Benjamin "Frank" Bustin, and after his death she married Bob Chambers who also preceded her in death. She loved to garden, quilt, crochet, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
Savola was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Marion Edward Simpson.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Bennett & Gina Bustin, Harrah, OK; daughter & son-in-law, LaNita & Jesse Robertson, Harrah, OK; 1 brother, John Overbey, Hayworth, OK; 1 sister, Altha Mae Rice, Saginaw, TX; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Countryside Baptist Church, Newalla, OK, with Rev. Bob Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
