John Augustine Washington. ... His cousin, Major Griffin Fauntleroy, 1st Va. Light Dragoons Continental Line (son of Capt. Bushrod Fauntleroy), was mortally wounded at the battle of Guilford Court House, N.C. 15 March, 1781.
